The 4 CD boxset,  The Complete Esp Disk Recordings on Abraxas (Italy) ESP1, includes the four original Ayler ESP albums, Spiritual Unity, Bells, New York Eye And Ear Control and Spirits Rejoice. The box set was released at the end of 2005 and was not authorised by the ESP company.

In December 2005, the Portuguese newspaper Publico issued an Ayler compilation in its ‘Let’s Jazz’ series. There were 31 ‘Let’s Jazz’ titles, issued weekly, and ‘Albert Ayler’ was number 29. It consists of a 60 page hardback book, CD sized, mainly consisting of photographs, with a CD containing the following tracks:
